Just about no movement on my scale, but I don't judge my loss strictly by scale alone, how my clothes fit is the real indication of weight leaving. I do like the visual aspect of seeing a number on the scale though. Over Christmas, actually on Christmas day I had my gallbladder removed, never had issues with it prior, other then being very obese, my numbers on all my blood tests have aleays been good, normal, even my bad cholesterol was in the normal range, higher end of normal but still normal. I had been have some pain, and was told it is acid reflux, well it wasn't and I ended up being taken to the hospital by ambulance on Dec 19 with pancreatitis, enzyme levels are suppose to be in the 70's mine were something like 2500. I'm not a drinker so it wasn't that causing it, sent me for an ultrasound and my gallbladder had some stones, not enough to cause a gallbladder attack, but enough for a stone to cause me pancreatitis. it was decided to get the pancreatitis calmed down, then remove my gallbladder. I really didn't think about it again until yesterday when a guy I work with, came to ask me about my symptoms because he thinks he has the same symptoms that I had been having. Through the conversation we had, i found out he is diabetic and that one of his meds could cause pancreatitis, I asked wjat it was and he said Victoza. i was shocked because I had just been on Saxenda for about 5 months earlier last year, I had stopped injecting because the side effects were not stopping and I just needed a break, so I have been off of it for about 3.5 months. Saxenda and Victoza are the same med, except Saxenda is double the dose of Victoza, needless to say I am not going back on it ever! Did a lot of reading on it, and more info has come out from the time I started and there is alot of pancreas issues. Yes I could have already been starting to have gallbladder issues, but this med could have also created the issue. I so wanted something to help me my weightloss that I gave it a try, my doctor and myself do not want me to have gastric bypass. I'm praying that nothing else happens with my pancreas.
